Sorry if this had all ready been talked about and I'm sure it has but I have some questions.
I all ready have the Classic which I'm not really a fan of I only use it when I have to I just don't like the feel of it at all.
Now the Pro does "look" better but I have never used it my main two questions are one does it work with any game that you would use the CC on and two how is the feel of?
Any other feed back is welcomed and would be appreciated.

It's the same thing as the original, except that it's slightly wider, has grips, and the cord has been moved to the top. It's been described as being more comfortable. It works on all games. Think of it as being like the PS2 controller.
I don't mind the original, and grips would remove the nostalgic flatbottom feel.

Pro has everything that the original had (asides that mystery button on the top that opened the clip things, they were never used for anything anyway), so it will work with all games that support Classic Controller. The Pro however is a lot more comfortable and well-designed. It might not feel as retro, as Starfox said, but that's a small price to pay.

One other nice thing about it is that it's actually cheaper than the original Classic Controller.

I have both, and the Pro is BEYOND better than the original, imo.

Nyko has beaten Nintendo to the punch and released both of those. I'm not sure about the availability of them and if you want to take a risk with 3rd party equipment, but Nyko's products are usually cheaper than Nintendo's.

Yep, already knew that. But the designs are ugly, and I don't like owning 3rd party controllers(aside from the Nyko Perfect Shot which is way better than the Wii Zapper) Apperantly the Wireless Nunchuck can come out of sync at times too. If Nintendo releases their own Wireless Nunchuck, i'm totaly buying.
I've actually heard really good things about Nyko's products in terms of reliability. Have the 4-remote charger, and I like the new Kama, but the Wing is pretty ugly.
Tried the pro while I was at school and can't wait to get two new black ones - already have two original classics and can't get rid of them for sentimental reasons

Precisely why I dislike the Pro. I would've it if preferred Nintendo bulked up the bottom of the controller a bit and added the 'Z' buttons as triggers instead of a second row of shoulder buttons a la ps2...

I'm a big fan of the PS2 controller but to each his own.

I really like my pro. I had to get it in black to match my wii as well. It feels a lot like a Sony controller and for me that's a great thing. We actually call the buttons the same as its a PlayStation controller

Even though the "trigger" buttons on the Classic Controller Pro are better (clicky instead of squishy) it's not enough to sell me on the redesign because it doesn't feel as comfortable as the original Classic Controller.
I have never liked the PS controller design, so it's been a disappointment to see Sony stick to that design with only minor additions. People who grew up playing games with Sony controllers probably don't mind though - in fact I'm pretty sure that's the target market for this redesign.

I have a question regarding the pro controller, see I enjoy the fighters (Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Guilty Gear etc..) on the Wii and I was wondering if the Pro controller is well suited for those types of games? I noticed from images regarding the controller that the center of the d-pad is pushed inwards giving the d-pad a more round-ish look. Just wondering if anyone has tried these titles out with this new controller and could give me some positive/negative feedback.

Hey I have somewhat the same question as the original poster, but it's slightly different
So I have four gamecube controllers, but I want to get some classic controllers for the few games that don't work with gamecube controllers (wich are few I know) so now is the question wich one to get ? the normal or the Pro ? I like the looks of the normal one most because of the looks it is more suitable for VC I think, and when I need the more comfortable grips I can always use my good ol' gamecube pads. So this is really the main idea I've got, but then I think Monster Hunter Tri doesn't work with a gamecube pad does it ? And I don't really see myself playing it with classic controller without the big grips (and there probably are other games like that). Anyone got any thoughts on this ? ( Yeah I know I could just get like two of each, but that's not me I NEED a whole set and I can't afford a whole set of both )

Haven't tried out the titles yet, but I heard that Nintendo went directly to Capcom for advice on the pro, so that should assuage any fears about Tatsunoko vs. Capcom (which I NEED to play).
@MrWout: If you don't have any, the only reason I would even consider getting the original classic now would be if it was used and thus cheaper - the pro really is a dramatic improvement (Just can't bring myself to selling my originals )

I finally got around to getting a CC Pro and it's safe to say my CC is going to be collecting dust for some time, it might never get used again.

My CC has been gathering dust for awhile

I only use my normal CC for SNES games, because it feels more natural. I use the CCP for everything else, except for NES games, where I prefer the Wii Remote on its side.
